Before your stay with us, familiarize yourself with the layout of our park and the policies we have in place for everyone's safety and enjoyment. We can't wait to host your camping experience on the Juniata River near Port Royal!

things to know

Seasonal Rules


• Seasonal campsites CANNOT have a permanent address at River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC. You may not receive mail, and may not use our address as a mailing address. Plates, tags & registration must be up to date at all times.

• We will open April 1st and close October 31st. Water will be turned on April 1st and turned off October 31st.

• Entrances will be closed over the winter months to help protect from theft and accidental destruction of roadways and grass. (Please note, River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC. is not responsible for any theft on the campgrounds). If access is needed during the winter months, please contact staff in advance to make arrangements at (717) 320-6600.

• Guests are only permitted at seasonal campsites if PRIMARY TENANT listed on the lease are present. No minors will be allowed to make use of seasonal campsites without the PRIMARY TENANT listed on the lease present.

• Primary tenants and their guests must not cross through other RV sites. Please travel on roadways.

• River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC. will not be responsible for accidents or injury to our campers or guests, or loss of money, food, beverages or damage to property of any kind . Responsible parties will be held accountable for any damage done. Tenants will be responsible for the conduct of their guests.

• River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC. is not liable for any acts of theft or vandalism.

• The primary tenant is responsible for carrying insurance coverage for your RV, vehicles, and their contents for any damage caused by natural elements.

• Quiet hours are 11:00 PM until 8:00 AM. No loud talking, radios, televisions, or other loud noise of any kind will be tolerated during these hours. This is for the enjoyment and benefit of most of our campers. There will be no exceptions. If you cannot abide by this rule, you will be asked to leave without a refund.

• Alcohol is permitted. However, you and guests at your site must remain respectful of others and the property.

• Under-age drinking is illegal and strictly prohibited!

• Please drink responsibly.

• Vulgarity or creating a disturbance will result in eviction from campground without refund.

• Anyone acting inappropriately (determined by management) will be asked to leave the premises on their own without refund. Failure to do so will be enforced by the PSP. River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC. will not be responsible for any damages to property or person due to a person who is under the influence.

• Sites cannot be used for storage of utility trailers, ATV trailers, or enclosed trailers of any sort. While these items are permitted during your camping stay, they may not be left unattended or stored on the property, please remove upon departure.

• RVs over the age of 10 years old will need approval from Staff.

• Personal vehicles may not be left at your site unattended for extended periods of time. Please remove upon departure.

• Each Tenant is required to keep their area clean and tidy at all times. The goal is to keep River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC. neat and clean. Management has the right to ask for items to be removed if deemed unsightly.

• No permanent clothes line are permitted.

• Do NOT cut or drive nails into trees, utility poles, or the ground. Do not dig in the soil without prior permission from our staff.

• Household type of appliances (refrigerators, stoves, freezers) are not allowed outside your RV, with the exception of a dorm style refrigerator.

• Business: A service in which a person charges or provides a service with some sort of reimbursement. No-one may conduct a business on the grounds such as contracting, sales, service, etc., unless prior approval is made by River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC.

Guest Policy


• There is no charge for day guests at any site.

• Guests must park at overflow parking lots only, not at RV sites.

Symbols or Relics, Political Flags or Banners


• What may seem harmless to one can be extremely offensive to another. We ask that these items not be displayed during your stay at River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC.

• Some expressions can erode our efforts to create a welcoming environment for all who stay here. Please remember that we are striving to create a family-friendly atmosphere.

We do promote and encourage that you fly the American Flag.

Pets


• All pets must be kept on a leash, picked up after, and not left unattended.

• Excessive barking will not be tolerated.

• Do not tie leads/ropes/chains to our trees. All leads must be attached to your personal property.

• Pet owners are required to have a current vaccination certificate(s) and license(s). Copies must be provided to River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC. at time of lease signing.

• If your pet bites another person or another pet, the pet must be removed from the campground.

• There is a zero-tolerance policy regarding aggressive pets.

Bath House


• The bath house is provided for your convenience. The cleaning staff will provide clean showers and bathrooms. Please be considerate and help us keep it clean. Absolutely no graffiti or destruction to the bathroom stalls and showers will be tolerated.

• No Pets allowed in bath house.

Flooding


• You will be responsible to relocate your RV if the river happens to rise in the event of a flood. If you are unable to move your RV, please call (717) 320-6600. There will be a $50.00 service fee billed to the primary tenant.

Garage/Shed Policy


• One shed per lot. Sheds must be Rubbermaid styled or of new pre-built construction with vinyl or paint. Sheds must not be larger than 55"W X 52"D X 76"H. No metal or garden sheds. If your shed is not within these requirements, approval must be obtained prior to shed placement. Shed location must be approved by staff. Any questions please ask staff. Permanent buildings, additions, car ports, or enclosures are not allowed

• If you build or install anything on your site without prior permission, and if it is deemed unsuitable, it must be removed at your own cost immediately.

Campfires


• Campfires may not be left unattended.

• Do not burn trash.

• Campfires must remain reasonable at all times.

• No bonfires.

Dumpsters


• Dumpsters are for general campground garbage only. Do not bring household garbage to the campground to dispose.

• • All large items (grills, mattresses, furniture, appliances, etc.) must be disposed of by the tenant at an alternate location.

• All garbage must be put in plastic bags and sealed before it is placed in the dumpster.

• Please place cardboard boxes outside of the dumpster and we will burn them.

• DO NOT put ashes in the dumpster.

Golf Cart, RV, and Vehicle Washing Policy


• There will be no washing of RV's, golf carts, and vehicles at individual sites.

• We will have approved power washing venders phone numbers at the camp office where power washing must be from an external water source.

Bicycles


• Bicycle riding is allowed during daylight hours.

• Bicycle riding at night must have front and rear light.

• Helmets are recommended for all riders.

• Children must use caution when riding bikes especially when there is oncoming traffic.

Golf Carts


• Golf carts must follow ALL posted traffic signs.

• Only licensed drivers listed on our Registration Form can operate the golf cart.

• All golf carts must be insured. A copy of insurance must be provided to office upon registering. There is a mandatory $40 annual golf cart permit.

• Do not allow more passengers than the seating capacity for the specific golf cart. All passengers must be seated at all times.

• No UTVs or ATVs permitted.

• No operating a golf cart under the influence of alcoholic beverages.

• River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC. can revoke golf cart permits at any time.

Vehicles


• Insurance on your RV and possessions is your responsibility.

• The Speed Limit is 5 MPH. Please drive slowly for the safety of our kids. Persistent speeding will result in parking outside the park and walking to your site.

• Only holders of a valid driver's license may operate a motor vehicle in the park.

Deck Policy


• Must be made of treated lumber or composite decking.

• • No decking may go beyond your camper length or wrap around the back of your RV.

• Decking may not be built around RV pedestals.

• All construction projects must be approved by staff, prior to the tenant starting the project.

Stones & Gravel


• There will be absolutely no additional gravel or stones to be brought into our campground, unless approved by the campground office or staff. Adding additional stone or gravel to your site will result in immediate eviction (without refund) from the campgrounds and a cleanup fee will be assessed to the site lot lessee.

Subletting


• NO SUBLETTING is ever allowed (NO AIRBNB, FLIPKEY, HOMEAWAY, ETC). This is to protect the campground, and our TENANTS. Anyone who does so will be evicted from the campground immediately without refund.

Electric


• Only one RV hookup per meter is allowed.

• River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC. will not assume responsibility for electrical failures. We suggest you limit perishables when absent from camp.

• Electrical meters will be read and billed on a per kWh. Payment is the responsibility of the TENANT.

Site Maintenance


• All TENANTS are responsible to maintain their own lot including grass mowing, leaf removal, etc.

• If sites are not maintained, River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC. can assess a fee for maintenance and cleanup.

• Mowing Charge: $40.00 per mow.

Site Sharing


• River Rock Camping & RV Park LLC. has a no family sharing policy. This means that only the primary tenants' adults & children are permitted to utilize the site as their own. We do not allow the tenant to share the site with other family members, parents, siblings, etc. without the primary tenants being present while utilizing the RV site.

Winter Storage


• You may keep your trailer and other materials on your site over the winter for a $300.00 fee.

• If you do not pay the $300 storage fee, all personal property must be removed from your site. This includes trailer, deck, storage units and all other miscellaneous items. No exceptions.

• You may not place your personal property on another seasonal guest's site for storage to avoid paying the $300 storage fee. If this happens, a second charge of $300 will be added to the seasonal guest that is storing the personal property.
